it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
More than ever before, I have students coming to class who are becoming of age and need basic hygiene products while at school and some lack the knowledge to handle the changes that are happening to their preteen bodies. Some of these students are acting out or withdrawing from participating in class because other students may make fun of them due to these reasons. It breaks my heart knowing that students choose to act out or are bullied because they are self conscious about how they look. With basic hygiene supplies, students can focus more on their education because they won't be focused on meeting their basic hygiene and sanitation needs.
