Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a second grade English Language Development teacher at a low performing, low income school in San Francisco. The students in my classroom represent every minority and majority group in our community. They are great kids who have to overcome many obstacles just to come to school.

We need to integrate technology into our classrooms but can't because we don't have all the tools we need. The donation of this monitor will put the technology back into our room.

Our school doesn't have the money or staff to teach the students how to use technology and I want to make sure my students are ready for the future. The only way I can do this is by putting the technology right in our classroom. I have donated my old computer but need a monitor that is large enough to fit several students around. I want my students to be able to play educational games, write research reports, keep our classroom blog going and much more.

This is where you come in. Your donation will purchase this new monitor for my class. With this new monitor I can enhance my teaching and my students learning. I can't imagine my classroom without this monitor, but we need your help to get it.
