My students are very special. I teach two sessions of kindergarten so I teach 40 students a day.
They love learning and I’d like to make it a little more comfortable for them in our classroom while they are learning and give each of them personal space.
They come from all over the world, they speak multiple languages. They come from low socioeconomic families, our school is now 100% free lunch program.
The new carpet will help them with social skills and finding personal space.
My Project
I will use this new carpet in many ways. It will help make the students feel more comfortable, it will give them a defined area to sit in, it will help with socializing the students. Many kindergarten students need practice with personal space. This carpet will give each student a specific spot to help establish daily rules and to give them their very own place every day. I teach half day kindergarten so this will help two groups of students for a total of 40 students each year. I know this carpet will last for years to come. Thank you for helping our class reach this goal.
