This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is my first Donors Choose project, where I am hoping to manifest a better environment for my underserved students! Our elementary school has a diverse population of students from all backgrounds, races, religions, and cultures. My classroom makeup in particular is made up of mostly socioeconomically and historically underserved groups: Latinos and African-Americans.

With the supplies in this project, my students will hear me better (speaker), enjoy a colorful classroom (printer and laminator), and have the supplies they need to succeed and have fun while learning (variety of board games)!
