This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are amazing! I have 18 students with a wide range of ability levels, including students with special needs. My classroom consists of students who are ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages), SLD (Specific Learning Disorders), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), and who receive free or reduced lunch. My students are creative, inquisitive, and exude a love for learning.
Most importantly, we have created a classroom family where my students all work together and strive to do their very best.
My Project
My third-grade students love to read! These books will make such a difference in my students' learning by allowing them to see a more diverse and high-interest classroom library at multiple reading levels.
The kids LOVE getting to choose what they read and we're hoping to get everyone involved by offering more choices - especially some graphic novels!
With a variety of chapter books, graphic novels, and picture books my students have so many possibilities at their fingertips! These books will help strengthen their reading skills and keep their love of reading growing!
