My Students

My 21 young and loving students have just begun their kindergarten year. Unfortunately, during this crucial period, we were displaced from our classroom due to Hurricane Lane. Just as we began getting into a routine, Hurricane Lane brought its heavy rain and flooded our building. We are currently in a temporary classroom waiting to return to our normal classroom.

If "home is where the heart is," then the classroom is definitely where the learning Is.

They have gone through much change, but I hope to create a new and improved classroom with your generous donations.

My Project

Where the saying goes that "Home is where the heart is, I believe the same goes for school and learning. Thus the title, "School is Where the Learning Is." This project will help fund a new and improved fun, inspiring place to learn. The magnetic and latex paint will create an aesthetically pleasing and useful area for us to learn with. Our existing furniture will be boosted to a new level where we can do interactive magnetic reading, math, and STEM activities on. The couches will replace our 15 year old couch that has provided many hours of reading on. The Minions decorations will help to decorate and provide a fun addition to our create Minion themed class. The fans will hopefully help to cool our class that is usually in the high 80s. Also, the flexible seating will add to the seating options we are currently providing in the class. It is our goal for everyone to be able to choose a seat of their choice. This project will hopefully help provide students inspiration to return to our classroom after it is fixed. We look forward to an improved classroom.
