Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year our class will be exploring the life cycles of plants and animals. I would like my special education students to have an opportunity to have a first hand experience on how seeds are the starting point of life for all plants.
A mini green house in the classroom is the perfect way to get students actively involved in planting seeds that they can eventually harvest.
They will be able to work with soil and nurture their plants to eventually reap the fruits of their labor, as the green house will allow us to grow seeds regardless of the weather outside.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
