At CICS Loomis, we believe that every child deserves access to spaces that nurture their growth, creativity, and curiosity. Flexible, inviting spaces will inspire our young learners to dive into reading, develop their literacy skills, and find the JOY in reading.
Our school needs a library—a critical resource for young learners to immerse themselves in the world of stories and build foundational literacy skills.
• Engaging and Flexible Design: The library will feature cozy nooks, flexible seating, and interactive learning zones where students can independently explore or participate in group literacy activities.
•Family Literacy Connections: We will invite families into the library for storytime events, parent-child reading sessions, and workshops to build a bridge between school and home literacy practices.
For many of our scholars, the books they encounter at school are their primary exposure to literature. Without a library, they miss out on the opportunity to develop reading habits and a love of learning in a dedicated, inspiring environment. Our bright, curious scholars arrive each day eager to explore, please consider supporting our library project!
