Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am in a Title I school where majority of the population come from a low income families. I have a mixture of high and low students from many different backgrounds. The one thing they all have in common is their passion for learning.

My students love to learn and they strive to always do the best they can no matter what might be going on at home.

Every morning they walk in eager to get started with the days activities.

My Project

COVID-19 has made a huge impact on my students learning. My students have not had a normal school year and have lost out on a lot of learning opportunities. My project has different reading and math materials that I will use for small groups and centers that will help grow in their knowledge and reinforce pervious learned skills. Due to virtual learning my students have not acquired the appropriate writing skills. So other parts of my project will help my students learn how to use lines when writing and to reinforce their mechanical skills.

My students love working together in centers and these will make a great impact on students learning.
