Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their curiosity, creativity, and incredible capacity for growth. Every day, they come into our classroom eager to explore, ask questions, and connect what they’re learning to the world around them.
They thrive when given opportunities to move, collaborate, and engage in hands-on learning — and that’s exactly what these classroom centers will provide.
Each resource in this project is chosen with intention. Literacy centers will support early reading and comprehension skills through games and interactive activities. Math stations will help students build confidence with numbers using manipulatives and puzzles that make learning fun. The writing center will help with their fine motor skills. STEM and exploration centers will challenge them to think critically and solve problems together. These centers will not only reinforce key academic skills, but also foster independence, teamwork, and a love for learning that will stay with them far beyond this school year.
