My Project
A few of my students have been bringing their Speed Cubes to school everyday to fidget and solve between subjects and during recess. A few of them have gotten proficient and are starting to add speed to their dexterity.
The other element I have noticed is that they have taken it upon themselves to teach their classmates and myself, which is encouraging interaction, communication, and ownership.
I want to start a group where students can come into class during their recess time to teach each other and myself the patterns and algorithms of the CUBE! This is a great opportunity to exercise the fingers as well as the mind!
