Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In today's world, many children have so much more going on in their lives than school and homework. In an effort to teach children more appropriate ways to express their feelings and work through things that are bothering them, I would like to introduce a more effective calming corner.
A classroom calming corner offers numerous benefits, primarily by supporting emotional regulation, reducing overstimulation, and promoting self-awareness.
It provides a safe space for students to manage big emotions, learn coping strategies, and improve their overall well-being, ultimately leading to a more positive and inclusive learning environment.
