My Project
Hello! I am Mrs. Flowers and I am the school counselor at a Middle School. I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request to help us create a dedicated counseling room — a space where students can feel happy, supported, and comfortable.
Many of our students face daily challenges that affect their emotional well-being and ability to focus in class.
Having a calm, welcoming environment can make a world of difference. My goal is to set up a cozy and fun counseling room where students can talk, reflect, decompress, or simply take a break when needed.
I’m especially hoping to gather: fidgets and sensory toys, comfortable seating and calming decor. An updated, thoughtfully designed environment can have a powerful impact on students' mental and emotional wellbeing, help reduce stress and anxiety, promote emotional regulation, and encourage open communication.
These items may seem small, but they can be incredibly powerful tools in helping students manage stress, build coping skills, and feel a sense of belonging.
