Hello, I am a primary teacher on the west side of Chicago.
My classroom is in dire need of books for our listening center. Unfortunately the funding is limited, so the books I need for my students are unavailable at this time.
I am asking for books that are inviting and some that have a real life feel, using everyday situations. I am also asking for books that will help the students with their reading skills. These books all come with multiple copies so more than one student can read it and they also come with a cd or cassette tape so that they may be used in the listening center. These books would be used during my guided reading time and also during their independent reading time.
My class and I would greatly appreciate a donation of any of these resources. Thank you for reading my proposal.
