Help me give my students these songbooks and anthologies so that they can learn about, experience, and perform music from cultures from around the world.

My Students

My students are urban students in PreK through 8th grade. My students are up and coming, often beginning, musicians. It is my privilege to help these students take the first step into this lifelong journey.

My students are my absolute favorite musicians.

Every time they hold instruments in their hands, sing songs, or listen to the great works, they have the same gleeful expression as the first time they did. Their excitement knows no boundaries. They are always looking for the next musical adventure, no matter the challenge.

My Project

My students are always looking to experience new and interesting music. I also have students from a multitude of cultures. They love to sing and dance. The songbooks that I have requested for my students are to broaden and deepen the musical experiences of each of my students.

These songbooks will allow me to make sure that each of my student's cultures is represented in music class.

Music should bring people together. With your generosity and these songbooks, we will be able to share together music from around the world. I look forward to the day when my multicultural students are able to share their cultural heritage with their friends and family.
