This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This years class is highly energetic and social. Over the last 18 months their access to practice reading materials has been limited. Many need books that directly match their reading level.

The books for this project should raise both their fluency levels and their confidence in abilities they had yet to discover.

They are extremely aware that they are not reading at a level that matches their peers. These books can change those mindsets.

Reading is foundational to be able to springboard them to success in all subjects. Everyday words matched with learning vocabulary and multiple meaning words can feel achievable with the books in this project.
