My Project
For my sixth grade class, I engage students with the book "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio. As a special education teacher, I utilize this book because there are excellent ways that our students can relate to the book via their age group. As a class, we study the book, read it, listen to it, and deep dive into the traits of the vast amount of characters within the novel. By having physical copies over an authorized PDF, students will be able to fluidly listen along whilst reading the novel. As an educator, and as a person, this book does *wonders* with educating compassion, understanding, and character analysis.
