This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, active, and have a love for reading. My students come from a low-income urban area who deserve the same opportunities as their surrounding suburban schools. My students deserve a rich, warm, inviting, library. As their teacher, I want to provide the most conducive learning environment to continue to support their love for reading and add many engaging books in our classroom library. I also would love for my students to have more exposure to the world of books that invite them in for adventures!

My Project

This book will open my students to exploring and fulfilling their love for reading! My students have been very inquisitive about reading new books and entering a world of fun through reading. This book will continue to encourage my students to read daily and open their minds to new books! There are so many fun activities and life skills including math that can be connected to this book! Please help bring this book to my classroom so my students can enjoy and continue to love to read! Reading practice is the key to success in becoming an amazing reader for our future!
