This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project aims to provide each student with a book, enabling them to participate in their very first book club. The goal is to ignite their love for reading and text analysis while fostering critical skills like understanding perspectives, recognizing emotions, and enhancing communication. Through this experience, students will work toward becoming thoughtful scholars who can confidently express their ideas among peers and teachers.
My students all have unique abilities and face various challenges, but these obstacles have never deterred them from striving for success.
They are deeply curious about the world and thrive in engaging classroom discussions. This project will give them the opportunity to participate in enriching activities that their typically developing peers experience, adapted to their pace and needs to ensure their success.
