This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students love to read and by love I mean they will read whatever they can get their hands on all day every day if I let them. We love our home away from home and will would love a new cozy corner book nook to get lots of reading done this year. We have so many books that we've bought, have been gifted or donated and we all know that reading at our desks is boring.

Please help give us a cozy space to spend our wintry days curled up with a good book when we can.

We would use all of these materials to set up a brand new space in our classroom that allows for easy access to books and a comfy space to read them in. We need an alphabet rug, tent and foldable sofa!
