Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These couches and rugs would make my classroom more inviting and comfortable for my students. When students have different seating options, they tend to be more engaged in their learning. Also, I could use this space as an incentive for doing well or following directions.
Theological of this project is to have a variety of seating areas for students to do and learn comfortably.
Right now, the only choices they have are to sit at their table/ desk, or the hard bare floor.
My student are special because they are good kids. They are respectful and well behaved for the most part, despite many of them being economically disadvantaged. I want to provide a fun, beautiful and comfortable place for them to learn and grow emotionally, academically and personally.
