My Students
The students from Philadelphia come from diverse backgrounds and families. They are passionate about learning through different opportunities. In our classroom, I aim to help them feel valued, creative, and safe. My students have a voice and say in their learning experiences and genuinely love learning.
Fifth grade is a time for students to increase their responsibility, gain independence and autonomy, and develop their own learning preferences!
My students are eager readers, deep thinkers, and empower their own learning and exploration.
My Project
Help me give my students a comfy place to read, work, and think with a Foamnasium Blocksy Kids Couch! This couch is versatile, antimicrobial, and comfortable.
The Foamnasium Blocksy Kids Couch will add an option for flexible seating for my 5th graders and take our reading nook to the next level!
Students can read independently, read with a friend, or work collaboratively with this flexible option.
When students have a choice in their learning, they are more accountable and successful. My students love to be out of their traditional desk and this couch will allow them to be comfortable, engaged, and relaxed as they work!
