My Students
We are a small K-5 school filled with students who are wonderful to work with! They are a diverse group of students in terms of race, income, gender, and ability levels, all looking for a chance to be successful. I have students who work at high levels and love to be challenged, down to students who need that nudge.
Many of the students struggle with issues adults couldn't deal with, but still find a way to come to school and participate in the learning process.
We are a family of learners, myself included. Every day is a new day of learning, loving, and respecting each other. We are an awesome community working hard at being the best that we can be in this virtual learning environment!
My Project
In order to provide my students with the best opportunity to learn, I need to have the tools to provide them with the education they deserve.
Learning, as well as teaching, in a virtual environment can be difficult for all; the students, the parents, and the teachers.
In a Virtual learning environment, a monitor and a laptop are key.
The monitor gives me a view of all my students, allowing me to reach out and provide help, or help them remain on task, with whatever we are working on. Whether it’s a worksheet, game, or project. I can see them all!
The laptop will provide the tools I need to make sure I am creating engaging, relevant, lessons for my students with the best technology that is offered.
In this remote learning environment, anything that can help me reach my students through the computer screen is a must!
