My Project

This additional technology will enhance the ability of our social studies department at Utah Connections Academy to deliver the best instruction to our students. Learning online is a unique environment with special needs and challenges. This equipment will give our department more organization of our online tools such as PowerPoint, videos, and access to student information.

Our goal is to be more efficient with our time and deliver the best instruction to each student.

The online learning environment requires many tabs to be open at once and an additional monitor will make it so we can access all the tools needed quickly for class.

We have some of the best students at Utah Connections Academy. For many of our students online learning is the best environment. Some suffered negatively at the traditional brick and mortar school. Some have anxiety or stress in the traditional classroom setting. Some work or have extracurricular activities during traditional school hours. For some this is the last chance at an education and graduating high school. No matter what the situation is, the students at Utah Connections Academy are fantastic people and deserve to have a fantastic education. Additional technology will make that happen.
