This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

These are weird times. Never did I think that when my students and I said bye in March it would be the last day in the classroom.

My students and I have embarked on the distance learning journey!

We are actively learning through Google Classroom. My students worked on a weekly Music assignment. In addition, I recorded extra lessons at home for them to view and continue to learn new material. I am amazed by their level of engagement and commitment.

My Project

My amazing students have been working incredibly hard using the assignments that I have given them with Google Classroom, YouTube, and videos. However, my learners would benefit greatly from me having a visual reinforcement of the lessons.

This project will provide a Doc Camera and Piano Headphones, so that I can use these amazing tools to assist my students with their remote learning experiences.

Once we excitedly return to school, my young musicians will benefit immensely by having a new resources in our classroom. And, I have included a piano bench to our project to ensure that our classroom is 100% ready for the upcoming school year.
