it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a wonderful group of 1st graders! They are eager and motivated to learn! My goal is to create a safe and comfortable learning environment for my students to give the best that they possibly can, every day!
As a teacher, I try to always keep the compassion alive in me, especially for my students.
We see these children every day and sometimes don't know their struggles, their worries (tests can be a lot of pressure!), and there is no better way to connect with your students than understanding them. My Project
When you have a classroom full of 18 students every day, materials are bound to run out! This year, I have the honor of teaching approximately 18 wonderful students! They are very little and need an organized way of accessing their center materials so that they dont spend extra time wondering or asking “what do I do?”. I want to create a generalized system that will work year round, where I can switch out the tasks and activities each week. I never want the lack of basic materials to decrease the quality of instruction and learning for my students. This is why I order the most basic supplies for our classroom so whenever those "Oh oh, we ran out!" moments occur, I am readily available to provide a solution!
Laminating sheets and labels will help me keep the learning centers organized so that they are durable.
The bins will allow me to keep all of the phonemic awareness and phonics materials organize for easy access by students! This way, each day, students will know where to access their materials in a organized way so we don't waste instructional time!
