This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are wonderful first time scholars. They are enthusiastic future world changers who need your support to increase academic and social emotional growth . While they may live in a community with challenges they strive to improve themselves through hard work and optimistic outlooks. The school community is set within a diverse neighborhood in Philadelphia with wonderful involved families. Sadly, the area has been hit by opioid addiction and economic hardship. Many of my students rely on our school for more than education but also both warm meals and a safe place to simply be a child able to explore and discover. I want our classroom to be a warm, welcoming, safe place overflowing with educational opportunity social emotional support.

My Project

I am requesting binders and protective sheets to help students organize their assignments and home school communications. The binder will also store a pencil case also requested in this project filled with pencils, colored pencils and other tools needed to complete grade level engaging lessons.

Greetings potential donor, I need your help, my students require some additional learning supplies to help stay organized in class and at home.

These basic supplies go beyond those parents have been asked to purchase. your donation will bridge the gap for many students. Time will be saved by decreasing the wasted time looking for materials. We will be organized and ready to start or lesson because of your donation. Thank you.
