it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are enthusiastic and eager learners. They need clean, clear directions and well presented and organized visuals to help them learn. As in all classrooms, I utilize a variety of mediums to deliver lessons , whether it be in Phonics, Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies, or Science.
The hub of our first grade classroom instruction is definitely our white board and chart paper easel.
This is where I display our learning targets and anchor charts, while we use the smart board to show slides and multimedia parts of displays. Both tools are needed to deliver lessons successfully. Our class needs a new one to get the job done properly.
You can help me to be more efficient in the delivery of my lesson on a daily basis. I use this board for each subject to display the learning targets. I have students come up to the board to brainstorm ideas, collaborate when we create anchor charts in literacy, and so much more. Using a white board or chart paper is interactive and low tech, which is a break from all the technology that sometimes students have too much of.
