This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach 5th grade to a diverse group of students at a Title I school, in a Spanish dual-language classroom, located in Koreatown. Students live within the hustle and bustle of the city and attend a school where they receive their academics in both Spanish and English. I am continually searching to find ways to make my lessons relevant and exciting! My goal is to stock my classroom with the basic, necessary supplies, which will allow our focus to be solely on developing our literacy skills in both English and Spanish. We need markers, pencils, and glue sticks!
