My Students
The typical day in my classroom is full of fun, excitement, and most importantly learning. In order for my students to learn at their full potential the must have access to the bare essentials.
My students come from a large military community with a variety of different cultural experiences and backgrounds.
Many of our students come from economically disadvantaged homes and will attend several different schools before leaving elementary school. Despite these challenges, my students are actively engaged learners who thrive when challenged.
My Project
As we go throughout the day students are constantly using pencils, pens, dry erase markers, erasers, crayons, and washable markers. Often times these basic materials are used up within the first couple of months of the school year. Hopefully these added materials will help us to get through the rest of the school year without putting extra pressure of families to restock the materials.
These basic materials will make a different everyday.
Students will be confident they have the materials they need in order to be successful throughout the school year. It's important to come to school everyday prepared to learn and work.
