My students need award certificates and ribbons for honor roll assemblies throughout the year! Certificates in technology, reading, merit, and math would really be great!

My Students
Have you ever attended an awards ceremony as a student, and heard several names called, but not yours? Knowing that you were close to getting an award while knowing that working harder could make it all happen? Now that the first advisory is over, my students are working much harder to succeed!
I truly enjoy my students, everything about them!
The math whizzes who ace math concepts but struggle in English classes. The English rock stars who struggle a bit in math, but are awesome in computer class. Oh, and let's not forget the difficulties of learning a new language for the first time while beginning your middle school experience. Talk about flexibility! My students exude resilience, both inside and outside of school.
Located in Southeast, Washington D.C., my students are experiencing some rough times. Poverty, violence, and a host of factors await them at the end of the school day. Inside of school, I want to do my part by acknowledging all aspects of positive behavior, hard work, and overall student achievement. Especially when it comes to Honor Roll assemblies! I strongly believe that acknowledging hard work helps to build self-esteem, resulting in student accountability and achievement!
My Project
We are in need of award certificates and badges for our Honor Roll assemblies that will be held throughout the school year. Ribbon accents will be used to supplement certificates that students will take home to show their families. With the ribbon badges, students are able to feel proud of their accomplishments as they move from class to class during the school day. For the photo frames, we've come up with a great idea! We can use the student of the week certificates and place them in the frames in the photo case near the front office, allowing visitors and teachers in the building to see student accomplishments.
By far, one of the most important awards that a student can receive is the Principal's Award for High Honors. When a student receives this honor at my school, they have truly exuded our core values of respect, responsibility, resilience, and reflection. Student culture in the building is sure to increase with these resources!
We're hoping that you can assist us with the resources for our awards assemblies.
The awards received by students will provide lasting memories and student achievement could increase throughout the entire building! Students will feel supported when they see their names on certificates displayed in the building while also receiving positive support from family and friends.
