it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are creative, innovative, and growing artists in our media arts class. Their interest in the arts motivates them everyday to learn, experiment, and create one of a kind artwork.
Each of my students have a unique artistic view they share in our classroom, and we are a community of artists, all working together to further develop our craft.
In my classroom, Social Emotional Learning is an integral part of our lessons. For this project, students will be making a movie that will demonstrate emotions and feelings.
Students will create their own characters with colored paper, develop a story and will photograph and direct their own film using the Stopmotion Explosion kit and photography lights. Student will gain skills in media arts by editing their movie with HP Chromebooks. Our goal is for students to learn the artistic process of art and filmmaking and discover who they are as an artist.
By donating to this project, my students will have the amazing opportunity to foster their creativity and be the director of their own stop motion animation masterpiece they can share with their peers and their families.
