Learning through play can make a world of difference! While my students love to learn it is nice to be able to do this in fun ways too. Having games, and other materials that can be made into centers can help develop their desire for knowledge.
My young students are enjoying learning, but it is a very long day for everyone.
These games would be a fun and exciting new addition to our classroom for choice time. How happy they would be to play games with their friends and still learn at the same time.
My Project
My students need games and puzzles for choice time learning. ELA and Math games are essential for having fun, yet, still learning. My students would be able to share with each other, and learn skills that are needed for their new life as readers. Many students are just beginning their academic career in Kindergarten. As we all know it can be a very long day for our four and five year olds. Bringing these educational games into their lives for choice time at the end of the day allows for a break for them, yet they are still learning. Not only are they learning reading skills they are learning life skills when playing games. Games teach our young children how to share and problem solve.
Donations to this project help my kids to have choice time in the classroom while still learning.
These games teach them how to share, take turns and how to problem solve. This will create a wonderful break from the daily classroom learning activities. My students will be able to gain the practice that they need in a fun way.
