The Anchors for Genetics and Probability

Help me give my students the supplies they need to work together to create group anchor charts and solve genetics and probability problems.

My Project

Creating anchor charts provides a content-rich classroom instructional piece which serves as a bridge between introductory lessons and practice opportunities. When students use them as a reference, they are reminded of prior learning and can more easily make connections with new information.

By allowing students to work in groups to create they own study aids they are able to focus on their individual and group strengths and weaknesses.

Also, in subjects such as Genetics, which require analysis and problem solving, requires that students have both fundamental skills (reading, writing, and math) and 21st century skills of teamwork and collaboration.
