The Anatomy of AP Psychology

Help me give my students hands-on, multi-dimensional interactions with the anatomy of the ear, eye, and brain for AP Psychology.

My Project

It can be difficult to fully understand visual transduction (the process of seeing) and auditory transduction (the process of hearing). Normally we discuss these processes in class and they label a diagram of each of the sensory organs.

These models will help the students be able to see the components and touch them, too!

It is very important for the students to understand the equipment essential for hearing and seeing, as well as the parts of the brain. The students learn about the process of how the sensory information is taken in, then transmitted to the brain, and then which region of the brain is responsible for that interpretation.

The mouse will be helpful for Ms. Jordan when creating lessons, due to some joint issues. She scours the internet to find as many great resources to include in class as possible, which unfortunately requires a lot of time on the computer.
