My Project
I am an inner city 5th grade science and social studies teacher with a passion for showing students what they are learning first hand through experiences and not just reading about them in books. In the two subjects as well as health, we are learning how Native Americans and those exploring the Americas learned from each other, especially through farming. We are also learning about the nutrients in the Earth's soil, importance of the water cycle, and sustainability in science. Health incorporates the impact of healthy choices and eating habits. By helping the 84 students I educate daily see their won produce grow successfully right before their eyes, these lessons are sure to have an impression on them to last a lifetime.
With your assistance, this mission to create educational memories and lifelong lessons can become a reality.
