This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work in a Title I school where my scholars have limited access to school supplies. We have had a great year learning about the art world and making some amazing projects. As we wind down the year, I want to reward them for a job well done with a fun summer time type activity: Shrinky Dink Keychains!
I always get 100% engagement with this cross curricular activity!
Not only will they be making a fun project to keep but they will be learning about the science behind Polystyrene plastic and why the the shrink process works!
