Help me give my students chair-back buddies and other materials to organize our classroom! Staying organized can help the school year go so much smoother!
I teach 2nd Grade in New Bern, North Carolina in a Title I school. My students come to me from all walks of life. This year I am starting a new adventure in 2nd Grade! I am excited to get to know my kiddos and build relationships with them over the course of the year!
I strive to make our classroom a place where any child can walk in and be excited about what they will learn that day!
My students love technology, hands-on learning, and group work. They love moving around the classroom to different areas and working with each other on collaborative projects or problems.
My Project
All of the materials on the list will help greatly in our 2nd-grade classroom this year (and beyond)! In our classroom, we have tables instead of desks, so storage is a necessity. The chair-back pockets will give students a place to keep their notebooks and pencils without taking up a great amount of room.
Organization is always hard with 7 and 8-year-olds, so EVERY bit will help!
The pocket chart will be used to keep student headphones when they are not in use. They can easily become tangled, so having a place to keep them will (hopefully) keep them straight.
