My Students

For many of the students in my Pre-K classroom this is their first experience away from home. Many have been with their parents or with other family members. Seeing new toys and materials is very exciting, but sharing these items may be a challenge for some.

A students name is something that they do not have to share, It is theirs.

My Project

My students are very excited about their name. It is theirs and they don't have to share it. We spend a lot of time practicing their name at school in many differnet ways. I would like to be able to make them individualized name practice and file folder games. With these items i would be able to create and laminate items so the students would be able to practice many times without wasting paper.

The file folder activities will allow students to work on their names, colors, shapes, alphabet, numbers, sounds and rhyming.

We would be able to individualize what each student is working on and continue to add to their own collection of learning materials.
