My Students

Our students come from a variety of economic backgrounds with many of our students receiving free or reduced lunch.

We have a very diverse student population with a variety of needs.

We are working to improve our reading, math, and writing skills on a daily basis. Improving student achievement is our main goal.

Our students have potential and want to meet high expectations. They just need a few more tools in their learning toolbox to accomplish their learning goals.

My Project

Having the Swivl Robotic Platform for Video will allow my students to have extended learning and practice time during and after school hours. I would record myself teaching various math, reading, and writing lessons that students need more time to practice or make connections to. The students would watch the videos and pause when needed.

My project will make a difference not only for my students, but also as a way to help my parents feel comfortable and confident helping their children with the current standards and teaching strategies.

I think this would be a great way to build strong relationships between parents and teachers.

My students would also use the Swivl Robotic Platform for Video for presentations as experts for various units of study. I would also use the videos to reflect on my teaching to improve instruction.
