This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you ever remember being able to go to the library to relax, read and just get away? This is how I want my students to continue feeling during this pandemic. I want them to continue coming into the library to read and feel safe. I have over 480 students who walk through my library doors and it is my job to keep them safe while having fun.
My Project
The students are back and it's time to prepare them for the upcoming Battle of the Books competition. There are 4 amazing, selected books to be read by the students and myself. My students are very excited as this is the first time we will ever be participating in something fun and friendly. We will be competing with over 30 other schools in our district and my students are very excited. It is time to get back to some normalcy and I am hoping this is a great start to this direction.
