This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will be teaching ESOL to students who are newly arrived to the USA. Many of whom have faced life changing events which brought them here. I will be responsible for teaching them language and social skills as they navigate their new lives. My goal for this project is to give students the opportunity to practice with their new language. Students need a set of comfortable headphones to use daily English Listening, Speaking and Reading. They will also use them for testing, language apps and reading online books. Unfortunately, I will be starting starting the school year with no headphones for my new class. I would love for you to help me support them by having tools they can use to interact with language in an original way!
