Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am reaching out to ask for your support in providing vital resources to my hardworking, curious students. I teach at a school where many of our students face significant challenges, including limited access to educational tools that could help them reach their full potential. Your donation can make a lasting difference in their academic journey.
My students are dedicated learners, and they continuously show resilience and a deep desire to succeed.
The headphones with microphones will enable them to practice their spoken English and engage in listening activities, which are essential for improving both their reading and language skills. These tools will help them focus on their learning without distractions, allowing them to build confidence as they develop their communication skills.
The privacy shields will also make a significant impact, especially during assessments and checkpoints. These shields will provide my students with a quiet, distraction-free environment during tests, allowing them to concentrate and give their best effort in demonstrating what they know.
The goal of this project is to not only support my current 5th-grade class but also benefit future students in the years to come. While my students are resilient and make the most of what they have, the addition of these tools will provide them with an enhanced learning experience, bringing both joy and meaningful growth as they prepare for middle school.
