Help me give my students testing power with headphones for my iPads, this will give privacy to the iReady, also incentive charts, award certificates, and rewards.
My students lively, busy, creative and love to come to school. Even though they are from an area in Detroit, Michigan that does lend many opportunities, they love to come to school. Many just come for free or reduced lunch getting education is a perk. Day to day live is challenging for them. Come sunshine, rain sleet or snow they show my classroom is full.
My students are six and seven years old and learn best through hands-on learning.
They love to absorb knowledge whether it's from a chalkboard or technology. They thrive on learning when they are engaged and have numerous experiences in school as they do not have those opportunities at home.
My Project
My students use iReady as an online lesson and assessment. We use it weekly with a goal of 50 minutes per week with a 75% or higher score. My students can benefit from using headphones to concentrate on the assessments and meeting their target goal.
The class will love to track their scores by using incentive boards and star stickers of red, yellow and green.
Certificates of achievement excite and motivate students to try harder to reach target scores weekly.
Small treats will be given when scores are reached, bring such joy of accomplishment to the student. The joy of achievement makes a student want to be more successful at learning.
