Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a wonderful group of 30 active and engaged students! We have a large class size so desks are cramped and our desks and room have no place to keep supplies or backpacks. We are working on freeing up space, making things easier to find, and help with privacy when testing or needing space.I have a range of differing abilities so organization is key. My students range from gifted to English Language Learners. The less distraction by “stuff” the better.

My Project

The test privacy blockers will allow students to stop fumbling for folders, etc. to block their papers and allow them to focus on the task at hand while feeling secure that no one is copying from them. We have many different learning styles, so trying many different techniques is important to these students when teaching. I love that they are so concerned about testing being private but we need a quite easy, efficient way to do so then we can get to the task at hand! Let’s keep them learning and I’ll keep the activities and lessons coming, too! They are champions already! I can’t wait to see what this year holds. These math and literacy activities will allow students to have a quick visual on the concept and help them be able to complete tests and at-home work. My Spanish speaking kids will benefit from being included as well.
