This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Blended learning has allow a way for my students to access differentiated math lessons that targets their strengths and closes any skill gaps. Once students have completed their assignments in class, they are able to work through a curated playlist of lessons and work anywhere in the classroom. The classroom setting can easily become overwhelming with distractions and noises as students are trying to listen to their video lessons. Having a class set of headphones will allow students to hear their own lessons and the built in microphones will give students the opportunity to record their responses to the math problems.
By donating to our project, you will not only help improve and increase student attending and focus, you will encourage them to express their understanding of math conceptions with the built in microphones.
Students will be able to deepen their understanding, actively use their academic vocabulary, and practice their speaking skills.
