This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have the sweetest group of goofballs. My kids have big smiles, belly laughs, and a million things to say. I love being their teacher because their curiosity, determination, and growth amaze me and make me very proud to be their teacher. I set the bar high with my expectations and it is incredible to see them work hard and take charge of their learning!
My little rock stars inspire me every day with their positivity and eagerness to learn!
I can truly say my kids love reading. Whether it's an article about why flamingo's balance on one leg or a free reading book about fairies, these kids are always excited to read. As an educator, I believe in inquiry based learning. Throughout the day, we are asking each other and ourselves critical thinking questions, as well as, using evidence and reasoning to support our responses and steps. We are very busy growing our brains in third grade!
My Project
The test privacy dividers will make a difference in my students' learning because taking a test is enough stress and my kids should not have to worry about their privacy divider falling apart, being a hassle, or causing a disruption. The ones we are currently using are made out of cardboard, so they are flimsy and overtime have began to fall apart.
I can just imagine the grins on their faces when they get to use nice and reliable privacy dividers for their tests!
A comfortable and professional environment does make a difference and I believe better quality privacy dividers will help my kids feel more studious and motivated!
