This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My scholars are future engineers, doctors, inventors, and thinkers of their time. They are eager for multi-modal experiences that stimulate their minds. If I could describe my classroom in five words, they would be: authentic, rigorous, supportive, engaging, and community. Students in my class have ownership of their own learning and a lot of what goes on happens organically.
My Project
I am not attempting to start donors choose, I simply want to redeem a gift card on here that my friend added on accident. The funds will, however, help me purchase books for students to read over the two-week break. My pre-k classes are full of unique personalities. Creative, funny, dramatic, and mysterious, are words to describe my students. My students explore reading and writing together and we build the foundation to become life-long learners. I am nurturing a love of learning, a passion for reading, growing creative thinkers, and always learning skills to be wonderful human beings in the world. We are a room of authors, mathematicians, and scientists.
