This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My littlest students bring such life to PE class! They love to learn how to practice sports and so proud of themselves when they can do the skills. The bring great energy to our school gym.

I am requesting 17-inch tennis racquets and very colorful balloons.

We are going to learn how to play tennis and these new racquets are just the right size for them! We will learn how to hold a racquet and then we will practice hitting with the balloons. We use balloons because they are safer for our little ones to practice with.

I am also requesting children's books about tennis to build comprehension and vocabulary skills, too!
