This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Did you know that tennis balls can help provide a quiet, focused environment for students? One of the many teacher hacks is to put tennis balls at the bottom of the legs of students’ chair to eliminate scraping sounds every time children move their chairs.

Please help my first graders maintain a quiet classroom environment with the gift of tennis balls for our chairs.

Young learners need as much opportunity to focus as possible. Many children have auditory-processing needs which mean that loud sounds and high-pitched sounds, such as the sounds of chairs scraping the floor, are very distracting to them.

These tennis balls are durable and specifically designed for chairs to reduce classroom noise so that my first graders can remain focused on their learning in a quiet classroom environment.
